2022-07-26 Weekly SCHH Ham Club This and That

Items of Interest:

For those who want to experiment with a yagi design but do not need all the rhetoric contained on the main Yagi Design Page. VHF/UHF Yagi Antenna Quick Designer – K7MEM

Humor:

Meetings:

The next membership meeting will be face-to-face at Hidden Cypress Savannah River Room on 9/1 at 7 PM. More information to follow… There will be other activities scheduled before then though.

We had the fox hunt on 7/23 and 6 of us found the fox within 20 minutes. We are definitely getting better at this.

The transmitter hidden under a tree
The hunters (except for Michelle who was on the golf cart)

If someone really wants to get serious about direction finding, there are some relatively inexpensive dedicated devices out there.
