I know you’ve been on the edge of your seats wondering when the Bylaws are going to be updated. Fear not! The Bylaws Committee (Jack Frisch, chair, Bob McCormick and me) have completed their work. Review and approval of the changes from the Club’s Executive Board is the next step. Stay tuned!

A Sad Note

Marc Tarplee, the ARRL South Carolina Section Manager, passed away on May 14th in Charleston, SC after a brief illness. Marc (N4UFP) and ARRL leadership in SC have been synonymous for many years. His service as our Section Manager began in 2010 after seven years as SC”s Section Technical Manager. Marc was a big-time CW operator who was also into participating in ham radio contests. He held a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina. Prior to his retirement, Marc was the Chief Financial Officer of York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC. Please keep the Tarplee family in your prayers. May Marc rest in peace.
